I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! Remembering those who fought for us and lost their lives is a great part of gratitude. I use a gratitude journal daily and I made sure to include those we remember on Memorial Day. I enjoy my freedom way to much to forget those who gave their lives for it.
My weekend was uneventful. We generally stay home and enjoy movie marathons and cook out on Memorial Day. We usually cook out beer brats and hamburgers with some salad. Its always nice to have a 3-day weekend, but just like any other weekend, it goes way too fast.
Today's agenda is to get some more edits done on the current WIP and get those done enough where I can review them one more time before sending to my editor. I have made these edits priority over other projects. Reason one: because it has taken too long to get this book finished and I want it to be. Reason two: There have been many questions being asked about specific things related to the history of Devil's Lake State Park on a Facebook group I follow and I want to get this book out to help.
I do apologize for the lack in posts. Just starting this blog was nerve wrecking for me and I am still working out all the kinks. I will try harder to provide more informative posts going forward.
